Do you want to build bat boxes, re-pot a cactus, make a worm bin, learn to recognize bird songs, plan a veggie garden, or something else? We are planning classes for every weekend from May through October on a number of topics, such as: native ecology (supporting conservation efforts, citizen science, history), nature activities (hiking, walking, wading, collecting), growing food (from seed to fork), and building useful tools for our environment (bee hotels, bat boxes, adaptive tools, birdhouses). Check back, or sign up for our newsletter to learn about our upcoming events and classes.
While we have some great ideas for classes, we want to serve the community to help them discover and learn anything that they want to know about plants and farm life. With that in mind, feel free to share suggestions for classes (or instructors) by clicking below.
